Tom Thumb

Sorry for the lack of posting lately, been kinda busy at work and home, and also the Intarwebs are being monitored a bit. So i got a couple of minutes i can catch you all up now.

Renaissance Faire:

We went to the Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha Wisconsin yesterday and it was amazing fun. We arrived early and were lucky it wasn't a Floodaissance Faire but it actually was pretty dry. The storms over the past few days made it kind of cool all day and it only got really hot a few times. We got there and walked around and checked out a lot of the shops and looked at all the cool stuff that was mostly expensive. We walked around more and saw this king of the log game where Emad challenged Brad to the ultimate duel of pillows of death on a log. Emad was victorious and then a new challenger appear, it was Foad. The brothers' duel was also funny and Emad was again victorious. The person running the game stepped in and took Emad down a few pegs by beating him silly. We then walked some more tried some hot nuts and went to this hammer game where you have to smash a hammer down and hit the bell. That was a lot of fun and somewhat insulting but it was all in good fun. We then got some food and checked out this show with a juggler acrobat magician guy named Moonie. He was a mostly silent performer and the show was a lot of fun. After the show we split up a bit. I formed a five man party with Brad, Emad, Sarah and Ernesto and we went to do a quest that was actually sanctioned by World of Warcraft. it was pretty neat and more of a scavenger hunt than anything. We had to use our keen minds and find some places and talk to people. Half way through the quest we went to the Mud Show and checked it out. This was also a lot of fun and was basically a few guys playing in mud and doing cool things to try and compete. After that we finished the WoW quest and rooted out the spy and we went to receive our reward and marks of honor. We all got a coupon for 40% off of one item in the giftshop and we got to put marks on a chalk board in the honor of the horde to tally the total victory of our faction the Horde won the day. FOR THE HORDE? It was an awesome and very tiring day.
